Age 5 · She/her Bravery Bunnies · Purple
"Mia and the Moonlit Garden"

Five-year-old Mia pulled on her purple rain boots — her very favorite pair — and stepped into the moonlit garden with Biscuit, her bunny, tucked under her arm.

"Do you think the night flowers are scared of the dark?" she whispered to Biscuit. He twitched his nose in that way that meant we'll have to find out together.

The garden felt bigger at night, somehow. But Mia took one deep breath — just like Grandma always said — and took another step forward. "You can be scared and brave at the same time," she remembered. She nodded at Biscuit, and together they walked into the beautiful, blooming dark.

The night flowers were not scared at all. They were waiting, petals wide open, glowing faintly silver in the moonlight — and they were absolutely delighted to meet a five-year-old girl brave enough to come and find them.

Age 7 · He/him Kindness Rockets · Dinosaurs · Blue
"Oscar and the Blue Rocket"

Seven-year-old Oscar had built rockets out of everything — cardboard boxes, empty bottles, even his dad's old socks (just the one time, and he had apologized). But the Blue Rocket was different. The Blue Rocket was his best one yet.

He was about to launch it when he noticed something in the tall grass at the edge of the yard: a small triceratops, no bigger than a kitten, with a bent horn and a very worried expression.

"Are you lost?" Oscar asked. The triceratops blinked its enormous eyes.

Oscar looked at the Blue Rocket. He looked at the triceratops. He picked up the triceratops. The rocket could wait. Some things mattered more than launches.

Age 4 · She/her Trying new things Cats · Stars · Painting
"Sophie's Starpainting Night"

Sophie was very good at painting clouds. She was very very good at painting suns. But tonight, Whiskers the cat had knocked the yellow paint off the table, and there was no sun left to paint.

"What if I paint the stars instead?" Sophie whispered.

Whiskers flicked his tail. That seemed like a yes.

Sophie had never painted stars before. Her hand shook a little on the first one. But then — she loved it. Each star was a little bit wobbly. Each one was a little bit different. Each one was hers. By bedtime, her paper was so full of stars she could barely find room to sign her name.
